Work in progress

This site is still being built

The Foundation is building in the open. What you see here is current and honest, but it is not finished — read it as where we are today, not as a final statement.

Between now and MainNet, things will change: wording, structure, images, and figures. Some pages are placeholders. Where a photograph stands in for a person, it is a stock image, not the individual named.

The wider ZooBC ecosystem arrives in stages. The wallet, the explorer, the community forum, and the social channels each come online as MainNet approaches, and this site grows alongside them.

If something reads wrong, looks broken, or seems misleading, tell us. Feedback now is worth more to us than a polished launch later.

ZooBC Signer Extension (not official)

Browser extension that keeps your ZooBC keys. Apps connect and ask; the Signer decodes the bytes itself and shows the site, account, network and every field before you sign. Works with ZooBC Wallet V1.83.

ZooBC Signer Extension (not official)

Live

ZooBC Signer is a browser extension for Chrome, Brave and Edge that holds your ZooBC keys. Apps connect to it and ask it to sign. It opens its own window showing the site, the account, the network and every field of the transaction, and signs only if you confirm. Your recovery phrase never leaves the extension.

What it does

  • You see what you sign. The Signer decodes the unsigned transaction bytes itself and compares them with what the site says. If a page calls it a "1 ZBC airdrop" and the bytes send 100 ZBC, you see both.
  • Sites see only what you share. A site must connect first and only learns the accounts you tick. It can declare the transaction types it uses; anything else is refused without asking you. Revoke any site at any time.
  • Pinned to its chain. A node that switches to a different chain than the one first trusted is refused.
  • 12 key formats: ZooBC, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Bitcoin (legacy, SegWit, Taproot), Solana, Polkadot, Cardano, Tezos, Tron and Ripple, from several recovery phrases, imported keys or a ZooBC Wallet backup.
  • Multisig accounts (propose, or sign as a participant), fee votes (commit and reveal), node keys, and game session keys bound to one account and its fee.
  • Activity: a log of what each site had you sign, kept on this device. No balances, no analytics, no telemetry.
  • Available in 8 languages.

Security

  • Keys encrypted with PBKDF2 (600,000 rounds) + AES-GCM. While unlocked they live only in the browser's in-memory session storage: never on disk, never readable by websites.
  • Locks after 10 minutes without a request (adjustable) and when the browser closes.
  • Reproducible build: each release zip comes with its SHA-256 and rebuilds to the same hash from source.

For developers

  • Call window.zoobc.request({ method: "zbc_…" }), the same protocol ZooBC Wallet V1.83 uses.
  • Or use the ZooBC Wallet Kit: ZBCWallet.connect() and attach() use the extension when it is installed, and fall back to the in-page or hosted wallet otherwise.
  • A test page calls every zbc_* method and builds a transaction of every ZooBC type.

Status

  • Version 1.3.0, 632 automated tests.
  • Tested end to end on TestNet with ZooBC Wallet V1.83, and with a 2-of-3 multisig (ZooBC + Ethereum keys).
  • Install today with Developer mode → Load unpacked. Chrome Web Store listing in preparation.
  • Next: hardware wallet support.
